What you think!
  Global Warming

Sarvin's Project    .

Samantha Bryan; 12, Madison USA
Q: What is the greenhouse effect?
A: The greenhouse effect is where gases trapped in the ozone layer increase the temperature of the earth.

Q: What is Global Warming?
A: Global warming is the consistent rise in the earths temperature over several years.

Q: What is the most important destruction that global warming could cause?
A: The most important destruction is the extinction of many species. The rising heat causes animals to migrate to the ice caps and once the ice caps are gone these animals will have no where to go. Not to mention, the rising sea levels that will destroy land and homes.

Q: Is there any school project by students on Global Warming?
A: Not at the time, but I think it would be a good idea.

Q: What is being done in your country or city on global warming?
A: The government has funding restrictions on various state projects based on air pollution levels in the cities. If a city does not meet the requirements they have a specific amount of time to take steps to get the air pollution to an acceptable level. If these levels are not met they lose a percentage or in some cases all of their federal funding.

Q: Do you think our generation should care about global warming?
A: Yes, it is our children and grandchildren that will be affected the most.

Q: As kids and teenagers, how can we prevent global warming in a cool way?
A: I think it would be really cool to have an electric car. We can also try to save electricity as much as possible because the power plants put emissions in the air, the more we can conserve the less emissions the power plants put in the air.
